Mazola cookies



Ingredients :
300gm peanuts (bake and blend)
300gm wheat flour
150gm icing sugar
1 small bottle mazola oil
a pinch of salt
1 Egg (beat lightly)
Method :
1) Line baking trays with non-stick parchment paper.
2) Combine the blended peanuts, wheat flour, sugar and pinch of salt in a clean mixing bowl.
3) Slowly add in mazola oil and mix into a fine dough.
4) Take a small piece and roll into the size of a small lime.
5) Place the pieces of dough on the greased tray.
6) Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180ÂșC for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden.

Fruit Cookies

Ingredients :
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup dried fruits
1/2 cup fresh milk, plus more if needed
Method :
1) Preheat oven.
2)In a bowl cream butter and sugar. Add in the sifted flour and salt.
4) Stir in dried fruits.
5) Add about 2/3 of the milk and stir. Add remaining milk gradually.
6) Make small balls and place it inside paper cup.
7) Bake for 16-19 minutes, until the cookies are a light golden color.
8) A toothpick should come out clean.
